Our goal is to become a collective voice for Bermuda’s Digital Asset Industry to the Bermuda Monetary Authority, the Bermuda Government and all Bermuda residents.

In May 2022 we consulted with the Cyber Risk team at the BMA to provide feedback on their proposed policy updates. We look forward to future consultations where we will discuss appropriate ways to provide new legislation to drive the market forward.

We have also developed a partnership with the Bermuda Business Development Agency and the Economic Development Department of the Bermuda Government

We build international relationships to help network Bermuda’s companies into global conversations and opportunities.

Our members all have different business purposes, but the red thread that connects them is that they see Bermuda as a place where they can be licensed to build new institutional grade products and services for international clients.

En masse Bermuda licensed digital asset companies form a comprehensive and viable ecosystem which is only going to become more robust over time.

We actively lean into outward marketing of Bermuda as an innovative and accessible ecosystem to decision makers and influencers in major markets.

In May 2022 at the Bermuda Business Development Agency’s NY Executive Forum, 7 of our members BlockFi International, Bittrex Global, CrossTower, RELM, Nayms, Jewel and 24 Exchange offered their experiences of getting licensed and growing their footprints in Bermuda.

NEXT intends to provide industry reports and other special expositions to the Bermuda population to help demystify the world of digital assets.

We aim to support initiatives to provide opportunities for Bermudians and grow the on-island talent pool.

In summer 2022 we are sponsoring 8 Bermudian students to go through a special 8 week fintech course run by our education partner ViableEDU. This special program will be run in partnership with the Economic Development Department of the Bermuda Government.

As well as highlighting career pivot opportunities to experienced professionals in the Bermuda market, we are determined to play our part in grass roots campaigns to increase entry level talent.
